1. Initial Contact
From our first conversation with a potential client our main focus is to listen to your ideas and needs for your particular project, discuss your schedule preference and ask to consider your budget and answer any questions you may have about our company.
2. Site Visit
At our first on site visit I will view the space, evaluate site conditions and feasibility, take measurements and photographs then discuss with you your ideas and budget in more detail.
After our initial meeting and budget discussion if you wish to proceed we can schedule a second meeting along with a member of our design team for the preliminary design phase.
If your job is a Kitchen or Bath, or requires building permits it will be necessary to generate working project drawings.
3. Preliminary Design
At this meeting, we will take additional time to discuss the project in more detail and take additional measurements. A preliminary design showing the floor plan and elevations will be generated to help you visualize the project and to provide us enough detail to arrive at a more accurate budget analysis. A preliminary design agreement will be signed at this meeting along with a deposit for the preliminary design service fee.
4. Review
When the preliminary design is completed we will meet again to submit the plan for you to review.
After your approval we will make any final revisions then produce permit ready construction drawings. At this time we will collect the remaining design fee and submit a cost proposal for the construction phase.
At this point in the process if you decide not to proceed with the project you are not obligated to continue.
However if you choose to go to contract with us we will schedule subsequent meetings to discuss the process, make final specification selections, construction and progress payment schedules.
